The polycystic ovarian syndrome is the disorder of the ovaries where the cysts or follicles are formed. It can be a single cyst/follicle or group of cyst or follicles. PCOS can occur in any group of women or young girls.
Endometriosis is the disorder of the uterus. The uterus is covered by the lining called the endometrium. In endometriosis, the lining of the uterus outgrows the uterus. This condition is called endometriosis.
Poly cystic ovarian syndrome is not associated with pain. It can be diagnosed based on the irregularities in the menstrual cycle or ultrasound scan of the pelvis region.
Endometriosis is associated with severe pain. The outgrown tissue causes cramps or unbearable pain during menstrual cycle.

To correct menstrual disorders, hormonal pills or birth control pills are prescribed. In Polycystic ovarian syndrome, the hypoglycemic agent is given to the patient to improve insulin sensitivity and help in weight loss.
Fertility issues are observed in both cases. In Polycystic ovarian syndrome, patients react well to the treatment and after a time period, they can conceive a baby as well. In endometriosis, the treatment does not show great results. Fertility issues exist with the patient.
